Didier was born in Montreuil sous Bois, nearby Paris, on March 26, 1963 and was the third out of children. His brothers Dominique and Pascal, are both interested in music and playing instruments.

At the age of seven, Didier oftenborroxed his brother's trumpet and played it loud but rignt...Was this little boy gifted?

Two years later, at the age of nine, Didier signed up for the local brass band where he took his first lessons in solfège and percussion(tambourine). Didier was so attracted to music that, after having learned the basics, he learned to play drums and organ. One thing is sure, this little boy was really gifted?!

After watching the TV broadcast " the world of the accordion " in 1973, didier discovered and was immediately attracted to this very special instrument. He couldn't stop thinking about it. He hassied his parents until they grave in and sent him to the Music Academy in 1975 where he studied solfège and accordion. his professor Alexandre Juan spoke very highly of him.

Didier gave his firts concert when he was 13. Three more concerts followed within the next three years.

This gifted young man has always been eager to learn more and more, so when he was 17, he bought himeself a synthesizer.After some months of practice, Didier joined a big orchestra.

For another five years, Didier went on taking lessons in solfège and attending musical seminars. One of this teachers was Richard Galliano( a renowned jazz accordionist ), who introduced him to the world of jazz.

Ever since that moment, two words have controlledhis life :

passion and accordion.

The following years were divided between accompnying artists ( Demis Roussos ), studio recordings and composing.

In 1995, Didier met Jean Kluger and they decided to pay a tribute to film songs featured in Walt Disney movies. We hope you will enjoy the result.
