In the heart of the Périgord Noir region (Dordogne), in Veyrines de Domme, amidst green hills and natural forest, lies the estate called
"Terret Haut". The view from the guesthouse is simply magnificent.
A unique place of tranquility, especially for enjoying the wonderful countryside and its wildlife.
The 16th century original Périgord-style building has a comfortable en-suite studio for the guests: a
combined living- and bedroom (2 single beds), shower and toilet. The guests enjoy the full comfort of the typical outdoor, covered
'pergola', overlooking grounds, which is a perfect place for that first coffee of the day, enjoying lazy afternoons, quiet evenings and starry nights.

Gîte
Our gîte
consists of three rooms with two beds each, a bathroom
with shower, a living room and a kitchen. It is situated
in a separate wing of the house and has its own
entrance. A large terrace facing the south made of
natural stone - which you can use if you want to sit or
eat outside - runs up to the entrance. Also there is a
large piece of grassland next to the gîte where your
children can play and roam freely.

Table d'hôtes
If you wish, you can get supper served in the pergola. The menu
- appetizer, main dish, and cheese or desert - will consist of local food and wine from the Périgord region.
French courses
Your Dutch hostess spent her childhood on the estate of
"Terret Haut" and speaks French fluently. Moreover she is a qualified teacher in both language and literature with whom
– if interested - you can discuss the possibility of taking French conversation lessons at a reasonable price.
