Sirima "A part of me"

The late SIRIMA was born in Pakistan before going to Paris. In the 80s, she sang in the Parisian subway and she was discovered there by Jean-Jacques GOLDMAN (French Top singer-songwriter). Both recorded a duo hit: La-Bas and Jean-Jacques gave her the chance to record her own solo album. SIRIMA was also a guitarist and gave her best in her only one English album. Her tunes can be compared with the acoustic feeling of Shawn COLVIN or Joni MITCHELL. Her fabulous voice was in the Karla BONOFF singing range. SIRIMA was killed by her boyfriend in the early 90s in Paris.
