BENJAMIN ORR has said goodbye BENJAMIN ORR, 53, co-founder of the Cars, died of pancreatic cancer on October 3 at his home in Atlanta, Georgia. He co-founded the group in Boston in 1976 with Ric Ocasek. In 1986, he released "The Lace", a solo album in Westcoast Music vein with a hit #24 in The States in 1987. The girl he is working with here in Nashville is Meredeth Brooks. It is supposed to be out now in October. BRUCE has played on 6 songs for the new Peter Cetera record. JIM PHOTOGLO and BRUCE started a song. Another AMY GRANT record is on the way. Michael Omartian and Keith Thomas are both producing. Bruce plays for them both. BRUCE is in Amsterdamm from September 11th until the 15th. He is writing a book about his time with Agnetha Faltskog (ABBA)... working and personal. It will be called "The Luckiest Man In The World".
