La Tour de Beynac-Dordogne

In the heart of the superb medieval village of Beynac,

you'll enjoy your vacation to the full. Our gite is located just a few steps from the château, but also very close to the river, shops and restaurants.

A hyper-strategic location that nonetheless exudes peace and serenity.

LA TOUR DE BEYNAC  is a home that is both original and rare.

It was built in the 14th century.

It was completely renovated by my parents and local craftsmen in 2021.

For your comfort, we've paid attention to every little detail.

It comprises 3 areas:

* A ground-floor living room with modern fittings and direct access to the garden terrace,

* a large bedroom on the 1st floor with double bed and adjoining bathroom,

* a second bedroom on the upper floor, with 2 single beds and a bathroom with sink and toilet.

It's a beautiful triplex. It's very original and makes you feel at home.

All rooms have retained their original appearance (stonework, exposed beams, decorative fireplace).

The 25m² terrace is planted with vegetation, combining the beauty of the yellow mineral with that of the vegetation. It offers a magical, unobstructed view of the Dordogne, the emblematic river of Périgord.

The ensemble is set back slightly from the chateau access lane.

It's very rare in our village to be able to enjoy all the village has to offer, while still being in a quiet location.

The Beynac Tower will allow you to rediscover the architectural ambience of the Middle Ages, in modern comfort of the highest quality.

Périgord Noir is of course famous for its gastronomy, especially foie gras, duck breast and duck confit.

It is also famous for its truffles and porcini mushrooms, which can be enjoyed simply sliced into an omelette.
