History of the château :
Built, transformed and enlarged over the centuries, Château de Biron alone illustrates the evolution of medieval and Renaissance architecture. From the vaulted rooms of the XIᵉ century to the elegant apartments of the XVIIIᵉ, each part of the château tells a new page in the history of the Gontaut-Biron familyone of Périgord's oldest lineages.
Today, this exceptional heritage is sublimated by national furniturewhich decorates several of the château's rooms. A sumptuous setting not to be missed!

Workshops for children :
During the vacations, children can take part in the "Coinage".
Like true craftsmen of the Middle Ages, they strike their own coins using pewter tokens, which they take home as souvenirs (extra charge).
