Château de l'Herm

An autentic site, a marvel of flamboyant architecture

Welcome to Château de l'Herm

Château de l'Herm Built between 1500 and 1520 by Jean de Calvimont, this masterpiece of flamboyant Gothic architecture was abandoned after numerous crimes.

Eugène Le Roy set the scene for his novel "Jacquou le Croquant", adapted for television by Stellio Lorenzi in 1969.

This romantic "open-hearted" place offers you an unforgettable discovery and will seduce you with its authenticity.

Thanks to the protection work undertaken since 2000, the château is now protected and safeguarded. Historical and archaeological research has enabled us to understand the history and chronology of this site in its entirety.
