His name may be foreign to you...but you probably already know him...in effect le château le Paluel was the setting for Denys de la Patellière's 1968 film Le Tatoué, starring Louis de Funès and Jean Gabin.
This 14th-century building has been battered by history, destroyed several times and rebuilt several times. It was burnt down by the German SS in 1944.

It is currently being restored by a local craftsman and is open to visitors.
The tour includes educational panels and a retrospective on the trades and life of yesteryear.
