This lovely and very spacious house (approximately 200m2) was once the original residence of La Saucisserie and is full of authentic features and architecture. It has recently been completely renovated and is equipped with every comfort. The Gîte has 4 spacious bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children. It has 3 double bedrooms for adults or children and a children’s bedroom for 4 with two double bunk beds.
La Saucisserie is located close to La Coquille and Thiviers and around an hour from Brantôme and Périgueux, we are ideally placed to discover all that the Dordogne has to offer.
Here you can enjoy a wonderful vacation as a couple or with the whole family. In a beautiful rural setting you will find your holiday home with its own enclosed garden for added privacy or you can play or relax in our extensive garden. All our holiday homes are equipped with everything you need and have been recently renovated and decorated.
The large 5-acre (26,000 m2) site is a paradise for children. A large lawn, play equipment, a trampoline, a secure swimming pool, a playhouse and much more. There are always plenty of playmates (Dutch and English speaking!) Thanks to the various holiday homes on site, you have the opportunity to ‘socialize’ but you can also retreat to your own home for some peace and quiet.
Nearby in St Pierre De Frugie is a grocery store and a great little restaurant/bar. There’s even a free village garden where you can pick fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit. La Coquille is a large town 6 km away with banks, electric car charging stations, supermarkets, a garage, a bakery and a butcher.
