The Moulin du Châtain in Dordogne Périgord on the commune of Payzac, welcomes you in an idyllic setting in the heart of a preserved nature to discover our beautiful region.
On the paths of the Mill crossed by the Belles Dames stream discover our small family campsite, chalets, tents, caravans and pitches, our private fishing ponds (without fishing card); trout fishing, a fishing pond reserved for campers where you will find Pike, Perch, Roach, Carp..., a swimming pool and a paddling pool, games, picnic areas, walking trails, a shop, producers and creators, the bar and its terrace.
The property extends over 4Ha and the site offers lovely walks; along the Belles Dames stream which runs through our campsite, around our ponds and in the little woods of the Moulin. You can also join many hiking trails starting from the campsite.

Le Moulin du Châtain at the crossroads: on foot, by bike, on horseback or with the donkeys discover the surrounding area and its many tourist attractions; Caves, Castles, Stationery, Forges, Gorges de l'Auvézère, Remarkable Villages, farm visits, producer shops, markets and festive markets in the evening...
The Papeterie de Vaux is 1km from us and you can reach it on foot by our path, the Forges de Savignac Lédrier 8km. The Gorges de L'Auvézère, you can visit the Tourtoirac cave, visit the castles of the Hautefort area, Jumilhac....Canoë, Bicycle Rail, Climbing, Gold panning, Horse riding, Kayak, Ski lift, Archery, Paddle are among the many activities on offer.
A leisure base 15min away from us, offers you many sports, leisure and outdoor activities...
We are bordering the Corrèze discover Ségur le Château classified among the most beautiful villages of France, Pompadour and its famous stud farms....

Small Family and Nature Campsite
We will be happy to welcome you in our family campsite in Dordogne Périgord in the middle of a preserved nature, rocked by the sound of water.
26 pitches for tents, caravans, camper vans, 4 chalets and 2 converted tents.
Our 4 chalets can accommodate up to 6 people and are fully equipped. They all have a stone barbecue and a wooden terrace equipped with a table and garden chairs.
Our 2 tents can accommodate 4 people. They are fully equipped and have garden furniture. Close to a cold water tap, the sanitary facilities are a few steps away from the tents.
The camping sites are shaded and welcome tents, caravans and motorhomes.
