Located in a former cellar adjoining the tourist Office and a few steps from the Jumilhac Castle, The Gold Gallery Presents a permanent exhibition entitled "Gold, Origins, Myths and industries". Apart from the evocation of the history of the production of gold from the Gaulish period until the twentieth century, we discover the atmosphere of an ancient mine: life-size reconstruction (trolley, rail, trompe l'oeil painting and various tools).
Museography and multimedia content are particularly attractive and will teach you all about precious metal. The Gold Gallery is open to the same timetable as the tourist Office
