Located 7 km from the center of Périgueux {by the ancient road to Château l'Evêque, formerly the Roman road} (parking du Théâtre), its medieval and Renaissance town, museums and cathedral, and 15 km from Brantôme (the Venice of Périgord), Château de Château l'Evêque offers a haven of peace and dreams for heritage lovers.

Former Episcopal castle (14th, 15th, 16th centuries), a place of religious power until 1793, then a private residence. From 1968 to 1982, Château Hôtel: celebrities stayed here, and its reputation spread far and wide. It hosted grand parties and weddings.

The château's English-style park is planted with hydrangeas and roses.
The centuries-old trees offer shade to visitors, and the 17th-century bridge and Belvedere create a particularly romantic atmosphere.
