Housing and its situation:

TRAMONZAC is a small hamlet of the commune of Bonnes, located in the South Charente in close proximity to the Périgord Vert, in the beautiful valley of the Dronne. The Dronne, a very fishy river, where several beaches are set up, with many children's playgrounds, is the natural border separating the Charente from the Dordogne.

You can also discover this river in canoes or kayaks (rentals in Aubeterre, Ribérac...)
Other activities are available to you such as horseback riding (equestrian centre within 1 km), mountain biking, tennis, golf, hiking, fishing... And of course the idleness!
The beach of AUBETERRE, just a few minutes away, is located at the foot of the old village which is ranked among the most beautiful in France. The monolithic church, very famous with its highest crypt of Europe, is among the sites to be discovered.
St AULAYE less than 4 kms is a charming village that offers many aquatic activities: a beautiful beach, a giant toboggan and a new municipal swimming pool.
In this region crossed by the road of Santiago de Compostela, you can admire remarkable Romanesque churches with finely adorned facades. Thus those of Plassac, Barret, Aubeterre, Chalais, St Privat des près, St Aulaye etc...
The Périgord Voisin offers many possibilities for visits: castles, caves, churches, traditional markets with foie gras and truffles and finally its renowned gastronomy.
