Le Moulin de la Veyssière
Oils and flours with character since 1857
Welcome to the Moulin de la Veyssière
Le Moulin de la Veyssière is an almost thousand-year-old mill located at Neuvic, in the heart of the Périgord Blanc region. It is the only mill still in operation in the Vern valley and produces oils and flours of character: walnut, hazelnut, almond and peanut.
Our products are manufactured according to a family tradition of craftsmanship handed down since 1857. Committed to responsible, sustainable production, we are constantly striving for innovation and excellence. We are committed to using raw materials that come exclusively from our own or local production, 100% French.
We welcome visitors all year round to discover our heritage and know-how, with free guided tours and a complimentary oil tasting at the end.
We're proud to have been recognized as a Quality Artisan Producer by the Collège Culinaire de France since 2015, and have won several awards for our oils, including a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole 2023 for our PDO Périgord walnut oil.
We're keen to share our know-how and offer a complete immersion in the mill's history, thanks to a number of different areas: a museum, an educational orchard, a picnic area and a gourmet store.
Our boutique, located in the old mill bakery, features our products, as well as a selection of artisanal gourmet products.
