This beautiful and very spacious house (approx. 200m2) was once the original residence of La Saucisserie and is full of authentic features and architecture. It has recently been completely renovated and is equipped with all modern conveniences. The Gîte has 4 spacious bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children. It has 3 double rooms for adults or children and a children's room for 4 with two double bunk beds.
La Saucisserie is located near La Coquille and Thiviers and about an hour from Brantôme and Périgueux, we are ideally placed to discover all that the Dordogne has to offer.
Here you can enjoy a wonderful holiday as a couple or with the whole family. In a beautiful rural setting, you will find your holiday home with its own enclosed garden for privacy or you can play or relax in our large garden. All our holiday homes are equipped with everything you need and have been recently renovated and decorated.
The large 5-acre site (26,000 m2) is a paradise for children. A large lawn, playground equipment, a trampoline, a safe swimming pool, a playhouse and much more. There are always plenty of playmates (Dutch and English speaking!) Thanks to the various holiday homes on site, you have the opportunity to 'socialise' but you can also retreat to your own home for some peace and quiet.
Nearby in St Pierre De Frugie is a grocery shop and a great little restaurant/bar. There is even a free village garden where you can pick fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit. La Coquille is a large town 6km away with banks, electric car charging points, supermarkets, garage, bakery and butcher.
