Chai de Lardimalie Museum
Near Périgueux, in the center of the Dordogne, in the Périgord Blanc region, Le Chai de Lardimalie Museum is located in a winery building constructed in 1902. Its Bordeaux architect, Ernest Minvielle, designed it on the model of the Médoc's great cellars for producing and preserving wine. Virtually unchanged since then, it boasts a spectacular vat room.
Everything remained in place: machines, tools, tuns, vats and barrels.
A fun, child-friendly tour is also available.
There is also a route for people with reduced mobility.
