Jacquou Parc: amusement park

Jacquou park is a vast leisure domain located on the Périgueux / Le Bugue road.
We offer you a unlimited access to the park's 22 rides for the whole family, from the youngest to the oldest.

The rides include flying chairs, a pirate ship, a flying baby, an enchanted train, caterpillar tracks, airplanes, a carousel and a Ferris wheel: all kinds of rides for young and old alike...

Aqualud

In the middle of the park a large aquatic area with child-friendly pools from 0.80 m to 1.10 m deep, and numerous slides of all sizes. The aqualud has a huge paddling pool with 30 cm of water, complete with slides, climbing structures and water games for the little ones to enjoy in complete safety. Children are the responsibility of their parents, but swimming is supervised.

The enchanted train

Have a good time aboard the Enchanted Train in the forest, and maybe you'll meet the colorful little elves of Jacquou Parc... who knows...

The Flying Chairs will carry you away in a rapid whirlwind of emotion over 3 meters high. A wild ride...

Take off for the skies and clouds aboard the colorful planes of the Escadrille des petits As. With your pilot's license in hand, there's nothing holding you back from reaching for the stars!

The sombrero merry-go-round

Surprisingly giant sombrero tours!
Settle into your huge sombreros and let yourself be carried away on the Sombreros circuit, perhaps passing speedy gonzales nearby.

Very dissapointed & quite concerned for safety of others!!!!

Whilst on holiday here in the Dordogne - we thought we would give the kids a day at a
water park, instead of the pool attached to our holiday home, & this was the closest to us!!...
We arrived to a long queue around the dusty car park (NO queuing system!!)
We thought 'oh that's a good sign', lots of
locals with season passes!! Oh how wrong!!!
We had read the reviews about it looking
dilapidated & like an old nuclear war zone but gave it the benefit of the doubt & went in anyway!!!!...
The man (old & grumpy) ushered us away from his payment window, but seemed to served whomever he wanted too! ‍♀️‍♀️
We eventually entered the park & after finding a picnic bench to place our bags at ,the kids went straight into the water park & they
honestly did have a great time on the flumes!...
The wave pool felt like an ice bath,but it was a hot day, so it was fine!
The large flume is so rickety all my family clung on for their lives as the stairwell wobbled so much they thought it would collapse, & with a loose bolt coming out as they climbed!!!
My eldest son also gashed his finger open on a piece of metal sticking out of the handrail!!!
He visited the life guard who was kind & dealt with it fine!!!
We didn't pack any food so went for panini's at the takeaway....
A 55 minute wait for 4 panini's & 3 fries-
Is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!
My sons girlfriend recieved a ham panini instead of 5 fromage-& she's vegetarian!!!!
Our orders were lost, and when we questioned, we were told they would 'come soon- they eventually arrived-COLD!!!!!
Half the day wasted in a food queue-so if you are still going to visiti this park, TAKE YOUR OWN FOOD!!!!.
After lunch, we went back into the water park but it was far too busy, with far too many people in it, so we went to look at the rides!!!
The rides are very old & dilapidated, & again very rickety!!!! We wanted to ride the pirate ship-BUT THERE WAS NO ONE TO MAN IT!!! We queued for the crazy coaster-with only around 30-40people in front of us we thought we would be straight on-BUT NO another 40 minute queue in the blazing sunshine with NO shade what's-so ever!!!
After that queue we couldn't be bothered waiting for anything else as it was too hot & NO shade, so we left- Very Dissapointed!!!....
Not enough staff at all makes the park very dangerous!!!!

Would we visit this park again?
DEFINITELY NOT!!...

Very disappointing.

Disappointing. Arriving at 11:45am, most attractions close from 12pm to 1:30pm!!!!
Wanting to go for a spin, the wheel is closed at 4pm.
At reception, there's no park map to help you find your way around.
Even if it's not very large, it's still handy for locating the toilets, cafeteria...

Dangerous

Dangerous and dilapidated, with broken safety bars, safety belts without buckles, stripped electrical cables in the rides, many of which are partly or completely broken, and the pool lining in a state of disrepair, this park is falling into disrepair and presents a real danger to children.

Excellent park we were two adults and two children of 3 and 5 years we had a lot of fun and the restaurant very well received for a reasonable price just a pity that is no toilet to the rides because a toilet for such a large park is limited.

Nice park

We were 2 families with children aged 2 and a half, 5 and 6 and 8. They had a great time and repeated the attractions several times. The adults were also satisfied with the attractions. The park is big enough, but a little refreshment would enhance your attractions.
The park isn't very modern, but given the price, you can't really be disappointed.
a little smile from the staff would be really appreciated though!

A very pleasant family day in a park dedicated to children and made for them. Our 3-year-old daughter had a blast all day. There were plenty of rides for her, both alone and accompanied. Aquatic area for the little ones with no less than 4 slides for small children, clean, nothing to say.
The green spaces are well maintained and we let our 13-month-old roam around.

With so many negative reviews, we hesitated to come and would have missed out on a great day.

So yes, the scenery isn't worthy of Eurodisney, but it's 4X cheaper and our daughter rode about 25 times a day + the slides.
Also, the snack bar isn't a double star, but at €7.50 for a fried sausage of decent quality, there's nothing to say. What's more, the large number of picnic tables means you don't have to eat there.

We know how to be demanding when the promise in terms of range imposes it, but here, it's simple but delivered. The staff are always on hand to do their job and respond when asked.

In short, don't take too much notice of these curiously negative reviews (rare on TA) and make up your own mind.

An ideal park for children

In the middle of nature, this super water park is great for all children who love slides, water games pools and lots of rides carousels Ferris wheel, coaster, safari car, 2 attractions flying chairs 1 for small and 1 for older, pirate ship....
15€ for admission, and after that it's all free.
Picnic area or restaurant (don't try it) very good Italian ice cream

The water play area is really top-notch! The kids have lots of fun there
The park is good too, with many attractions for young and old;)
Bring your own picnic, it's cheaper and there are plenty of tables you can move around 😉
A slight downside: the restaurant is not very well stocked.
It's okay to help out, but it's better to bring your own picnic.

I'm furious with jacquou parc
Here is the message sent to jacquou parc on sunday and no reply from them it's a shame !!!!

Good evening, we came as a group of 9 people today to your park and we are very unhappy. We came 2 years ago and the attractions like the plane, the kangaroo we could do as a family but now adults are no longer allowed to ride them, I have a 4 year old who could not do them because he was alone and afraid ... No announcement on Facebook or other was made about this while on your site these attractions are marked FAMILY. My son and his 13-year-old friend couldn't go on the horses, saying they were too big. On the placard there's a mark for children aged 5 and over. We couldn't ride the Ferris wheel because there was no one to operate it, so we went to see someone from another ride who told us she'd gone to the toilet, but we returned to the attraction 3 times in 40 minutes and still no one.... Your park closes at 6:30 p.m., whereas on your site it says 7 p.m. The rides also close at 6:30 pm and at 6:20 pm we wanted to go on one and it was practically all closed. It's a disgrace, and the ticket price is exorbitant considering the inconvenience.... I won't do any advertising, on the contrary, people on social networks have the right to know where they venture...

Disappointed!

We're neighbors of the park, living just a few kilometers away all year round. We've been coming for a day several summers now.
The park is relatively well-maintained, but the rides are old-fashioned and the people working on site manage 3 rides at a time: this seems to me to be far too many, given that some of them cater for children as young as 3 (and parents can't always accompany them). Please note that the rides only open at 10.30 a.m. and close at midday!
As for the water play area, it's pretty well done, but the water is very cold! When it's over 30 degrees outside, it's not very pleasant. Our 3-year-old daughter only lasted 30 minutes before shivering and asking to leave.
However, what disappointed us most was the unfriendliness of the staff: at the reception desk (comments about the cost of vacation vouchers when paying for admission), when ordering a coffee (no response to our hello or goodbye), on the rides (we got annoyed because we had put two children on the horses (on which there are two saddles...) when this is not allowed, but we couldn't find where it was mentioned).
We were a little taken aback and as "locals" not very proud of our region for this lack of friendliness.
Nevertheless, the children had a good day out, as they're rather impervious to this kind of inconvenience! And fortunately...

Very disappointed at the start of the season and 5 merry-go-rounds that don't work at the snack bar, the ice cream, one Italian-style, is a disaster.
Poorly maintained park.
If so many carousels close, it would be nice to give them a price.
The park opens at 10:00 am, but most rides don't open until 10:30 am.
The 2 large waterslides are great for the little ones, so be careful because some of them come out and you get hurt.

We went with our two children for our 7 year old's birthday. Our second is 2 but 92cm tall, so she paid the same price as our son.
Given her young age, she didn't want to go on any rides without us, and we were refused access to 90% of them...
Children's prices are about the same as adults', which is absurd! The rides are mainly aimed at young children, so in my opinion they're not suitable for teenagers, for example. Almost all the rides are closed at lunchtime!
What's more, even though the park wasn't full, which was reassuring in terms of waiting time and fluidity on the rides, we still had to wait in full sunshine for the rides to start, as one person was managing 3 rides at the same time...
We were happy to make up for it at the pool, but the water was very cold and our daughter was unable to enjoy it.
Some of the slides are old and don't slide, and on the way down we feel the joints... The pool is really lively in places.
In short, around sixty euros for 4 people for a park that in our eyes isn't worth it.
It has a lot of potential because it has a large plot of land and plenty of space for chosses, but it's not well maintained, the rides are damaged...the advantage is the calmness of the place and the many possibilities to picnic all over the park...
Our son had a wonderful day for his 7th birthday with his childlike eyes, but we were very disappointed.
I advise families with children who are not too young and not teenagers,

pleasant surprise with this park! We spent a relaxing day with our family. Ideal for children under 12, and even toddlers. Much better from the inside than the outside (view from the road).

A pleasant moment

This park is very well designed, especially for children between 3 and 10 years of age. The attractions are classic but will appeal to the little ones. There's plenty to eat (sandwiches and paninis, as well as ice creams). In short, a good outing for youngsters, and it's not too crowded.

Great day at Jacquou Parc

We spent the day at Jacquou Parc from opening (10am) to closing (6pm) as part of an outing with the Saint Cyprien rugby school. We weren't disappointed, with unlimited rides for all ages, for the brave and the less intrepid. We then took advantage of the aquatic area where we could let our little wildcats loose in complete peace and quiet in the blazing heat. Personally, I'd never been there before, yet I used to pass by it every week. Excellent value for money for a full day's recreation.
