Built in the 16th century, it bears witness to feudal architecture, with its squat appearance, complete parapet walk and harquebusiers.
The main building is rectangular in plan, its east/west-facing flanks allowing morning and afternoon light to flood the castle's 3 floors (ground, first and second), flanked by 2 towers on the east-facing corners and 2 corbelled turrets on the west side.
A machicolated parapet walk runs around it, topped by a high, beautifully framed roof.
First floor: office, library, reception room, dining room.
1st floor: guest room
The 2nd floor overlooks the parapet walk (very well preserved for admiring the surroundings).
The château is set in 100 hectares of woodland, interspersed with pastures for horses and deer. A multitude of footpaths provide ideal starting points for walks in the heart of nature.
