Gîte les combesNestled in a rock, this vacation rental was built at the end of the 19th century. Entirely restored, the gîte offers charm and cosy comfort with a 8 x 4 heated pool.
It is 2 km fromAgonac, a village situated on a hill overlooking the valley of the Beauronne, a tributary stream of the Isle. Numerous mills, such as the Bordes mill in the center of the village, can still be found at Beauronne .
About 15 minutes away, you can discover PERIGUEUX, a city of art and history, BRANTÔME, known as the Venice of Périgord, VILLARS with its caves, BOURDEILLES and ST JEAN DE COLE (one of the 'most beautiful villages in France'). In the department you can also visit Sarlat, les Eyzies (prehistoric caves (LASCAUX....) , MONTIGNAC with its festival, BERGERAC with its vineyards and châteaux. You can also enjoy the gastronomy of our department (truffle country, foie gras, walnuts.....).
In the village ofAGONAC you'll find all the shops you need: bakery, grocery store, restaurant, bar, as well as services: post office, train station, pharmacy, doctors, nurses, dentists, etc. There's also a tennis club.
A municipal swimming pool (aquatic center) AQUACAP is on the heights of PÉRIGUEUX at Champcevinel , about 7 km from the house.
In Brantôme, you'll find many restaurants, including two Michelin-starred chefs, as well as shops and markets every morning. It's a dynamic tourist town.
This house is fully furnished by a local craftsman.
