Tamniès pond

Welcome to Tamniès pond

Located in the small commune of Tamniès, 5 km from Sarlat, Tamniès pond has been equipped for swimming, fishing and small craft (kayaks). It is bordered by a fine sandy beach, children's playground, outdoor furniture, a pontoon, a refreshment bar, sanitary facilities and ample parking.

The swimming pond is equipped with floating inflatables.

The supervised swimming area and refreshment bar are open from late June to late August every year.
There's a path around the lake and a sports trail on the opposite bank to the beach.
On the interpretation trail, you'll discover the specific flora and fauna of our Vallée des Beunes, as well as the heritage of our village.

The tennis court and fishing pond adjacent to the swimming pond offer a wide range of activities.

The Etang de Tamniès has had the Blue Flag label since 2011, which guarantees the quality of the bathing water and the management of the site.

Dogs are welcome on the grassy areas, on a leash, but are not allowed to swim in the pond.
