Situated in the heart of the Dordogne, in the charming village of Cadouin, the Youth Hostel is part of an exceptional setting. Housed within the 12thᵉ century Cistercian abbey, it is classified as a Monument Historique and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The inn offers travelers, families and groups a spacious, authentic and friendly environment, close to the wonders of the Périgord.
It complies with all safety standards and has been approved by the Inspection Académique and Jeunesse et Sports, guaranteeing an appropriate welcome for groups, schools, families and individual travelers.
Private and shared rooms
The youth hostel has 80 beds in different configurations to accommodate all types of stays:
6 double rooms, which can also be rented as single rooms
1 PMR room on first floor
16 rooms sleeping 3 to 6
1 dormitory with 10 beds
2 bedrooms with bunk beds
Rooms offer a view of the cloister, the inner courtyard or the village square, and feature en suite facilities and heating. Some WCs are shared, located outside the rooms. Bed linen is provided, but towels are not.
Common areas
Take advantage of the gardens and courtyard for a moment in the fresh air, prepare your meals in the shared kitchen, or sit in the lounges to chat, read or simply relax. Places open to all, where you can share, discuss and take full advantage of the inn's peaceful atmosphere.

The vaulted hall, with its authentic charm, is ideal for sharing moments. It can be converted for seminars or social events.
On-site catering
The inn's restaurant offers carefully prepared meals in a friendly, authentic atmosphere, in keeping with the inn's ambiance.
The spotlight is on local producers, with homemade, organic, seasonal cuisine and gourmet, local dishes that are accessible to all appetites: local food lovers, gourmets and vegetarians alike. You can enjoy full menus (starter - main course - dessert), served for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.
A range of formulas are available: half-board or full-board, to suit all types of stay.

Access to the hostel
Free parking is available right next to the hostel for our guests, and there is also a bus parking area just outside the village for groups. Secure bicycle storage is also available.
Arrivals are between 4pm and 7pm, and departures before 10am. A key box is available for 24-hour access. Pets are not allowed on the premises.
